Twitter, Jaiku, where does it end?

Since Twitter’s been a tad unstable, I decided to sign up at Jaiku and take a look at it. Since it lets you add feeds, and I can use Twitterfeed to add RSS feeds to Twitter, I actually have them talking to each other at this point, which is interesting. I have no idea which one I like better. I have no idea if I’ll ever actually post anything to Jaiku, unless Twitter is down. 🙂

Anyway, if you’re so inclined follow the link and add me to you Jaiku. Seems like it’ll actually feed you everything I’m doing in one spot. At least until another service captures my interest.

Can you tell the whole concept is just starting to confuse me? 🙂

After Lockergnome announced their klip, it appears some others have picked up on the idea of having their blog be a klip. I have to wonder about something. SEO Question

So, if there are any SEO “experts” out there willing to answer a question for me, I’m seeing some really odd Google behavior from one of my sites. The site in question is www.childabusesurvivor.net. The problem is this. Once upon a time my site was in the top three hits on Google for “child abuse…

  1. Yeah – I just don’t get the whole twitter hype. Do that many people really *need* instant update functionality?

I can see how it could work intraoffice, but globally? I just don’t get it.

  2. I think it makes for an interesting way to jot down quick thoughts to share, sort of a mini-blog if you will, especially since you can post to it from a mobile interface or Gtalk. It’s cool to be able to share a thought driving down I-71 at 11PM like I was last night, and read what other folks are doing as well.
