Another tool to help with spyware clean-ups

Download Squad has a post about another tool that might help with cleaning up after a spyware or virus infection. Killbox is a tool that will let you kill anything running on your PC so you can delete the files related to it.

I’ve used Unlocker before, which I think works pretty well, but it never hurts to have other options, so I’m making note of this one as well.

  1. Killbox has been in my spyware cleaning toolbox for quite awhile. It’s not the most used tool, but has helped in some instances. It’d be interesting to hear about the lesser known tools sysadmins use to for spyware cleanup(which for us has become an almost everyday part of the job).
