What a week…

I don’t think I’ve ever been so glad to have a week over with. There’s just been so much turmoil and stress involved with work this week that it will be so nice just to have a couple of days where I don’t have to be here!

I did discover today that there wasn’t a delay in hiring a new person, it was just that no one bothered to tell me until today that she starts Monday. Nothing like trying to get accounts and a PC setup when I had already scheduled so many other things that needed to get done today! But things went well and one of my coworkers did a great job of getting stuff done that she was unfamiliar with without needing too much help from me, and everything got accomplished. I’m going to bask in the relief of knowing we got everything done today that needed to get done despite the odds this weekend. I’ll worry about what all we need to get done Monday, on Monday.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

I was just thinkingthe same thing! To quote: “One thing that’s different, this time, though, is that along with all the usual bounces, I’m getting an annoying amount of “challenge-response” requests from people I didn’t email. In other words, the virus emails someone randomly and puts my email address as the “reply-to”. If the recipient…

Be sure to read this article about PocketPC 2003 (aka Windows Mobile 2003) on a Dell Axim in it’s entirety. Dell is apparently offering upgrade CD’s to current Axim owners for $29. This article looks to have all the details on whether it’s worth the upgrade or not, but it’s long! Follow these topics: Uncategorized

Yesterday was Nature Photography Day, and between a full work day and an evening meeting over at the library, I was in the midst of the concrete jungle downtown. (OK so Columbus isn’t exactly the concrete jungle, but there’s not much in the way of nature to get photos of downtown.) On the positive side…
