Interesting usefulness

Last night I found some interesting useful things to do with my Pocket PC. Sleeping at the in-laws, I used a CF card full off MP3’s and my stereo headphones to fall asleep to music without bothering my wife, or having to lug around any extra cd player or cd’s. Then, when I woke up in the middle of the night, the Pocket PC was still running right there on the night stand, so just a tap on the screen later I had enough light to see my way around the room, and I could get a peek at the time. Of course this assumes you have it plugged into a wall outlet and set to not shut off when connected to power this way, but it was kinda nice.

Angela, on the other hand, called it the most expensive night-light in the world. She just doesn’t get it. *L*

Gee is Google, through Blogger, out to conquer the world? Speaking of IT folks solving their own problems, Jason has an interesting problem he’s trying to solve with the public wifi hotspots where he works. I don’t have a solution, but I tend to think that if you’re creating public hotpots you don’t worry about neighbors getting access. Of course, maybe that’s just me. Follow…
