Early morning

Because of us leaving for Myrtle Beach right after work, and needing to get the monthly invoicing done before a meeting that managed to get moved to first thing in the morning, Angela dropped me off at the office early this morning. A full hour before I normally get here. (And I usually get here 15 minutes early to make sure I can grab a cup of coffee before the interruptions start.) I have to say that while I love getting as much sleep as I can in the mornings, I can see why some people would like this sort of schedule. I’ve already gotten a ton more stuff done than I would between 8:30-9:30 on a typical day, since there’s no one here to interrupt me.

I actually have time to blog this, and have a quiet cup of coffee before I have to run off to my meeting. Sweet!

Yup, today’s the last day of work. I start my new job on Monday morning. I’m currently working in an office with all my belongings packed up, with bare walls and bare desk space. Questions like, which is more annoying, sending an email to all of staff asking them not to do something, and less than three weeks later finding someone doing that exact thing, or having a request for something given to you, with important information missing, asking for that information, and not getting any response? And, is…

  • Google viewer

Just saw this for the first time, the Google viewer, which shows you the pages in your result and scrolls through all of your search results so you don’t have to actually do anything but stop it when it gets to the page you want. I’m not sure what I think of it yet, but…
