Hmmm

You ever have on of those days that makes you wonder why you ever thought working with technology was a good idea? Anyone have any jobs that I could do that don’t involved dealing with users, vendors, or hosting companies? That would be sweet..

By the way, this is the first time I’ve actually been able to reach blogger’s servers to post all day. The other site is back, sort of. I’ve put back a backup copy of the forums from a couple of weeks ago, so some stuff is missing, but I’m having great difficulty getting Movable Type to cooperate, along with a couple of other, smaller bugs in the site setup. I assume I’ll have to go and do a full reinstall of MT tonight and tomorrow to get it working, ugh!

And I haven’t even told you about the work problems, those details will be left secret because it’s just another rant about users that you’ve all heard a billion times. *L*

It seems that my latest webcam pic, which was taken after a successful install of Red Hat 7.1 as a “play and learn” installation, has gotten the attention of non other than Lockergnome’s head Penguin himself, Tony Steidler-Dennison. • Why I’m a skeptic

Here’s a good reason why I have a hard time believing most of what I hear from news organizations. It’s all about making the story more interesting than it really is and inducing panic so that people stay tuned, isn’t it? So, we’ve got newspeople spouting basically whatever comes into their heads as truth, and…

  • Level of Geekdom

I actually meant to blog this awhile ago, but I have a question. Is there some level of geekdom that’s passed when your wife sends you an email, in which she has a small list of chores that require your attention and she ends with the instruction to make sure you add said list to…
