Blogger survey

Blogger is currently running a survey of it’s users. There are questions about you, your blogging habits, how you started blogging and whether you’ve told others about it, rating things you’d like to be able to do easier and about using news aggregators. Pretty run of the mill stuff, only took me about 5 minutes. I think they should have given you the option to write-in features you want but I guess we already have the ability to put in a feature request in their support system, so I could see not putting it in there. If you use blogger, you’ll see the link on the page where you can edit or post to your blog.

Not sure what Google is trying to get at with this survey but it’ll be interesting to keep an eye on.

John Udell has written a story about Personal RSS Aggregators. He takes a very professional and journalistic approach to describing all of the available options, but frankly, I don’t think he ever installed and ran any of them beyond Radio. Most of the descriptions are standard website fodder, with no real details on what it…

We spent the day down at Falls Creek State Park here in Tennessee, pics to come later, I’m sure. On the tech front, someone at work got one of those fake Microsoft emails with the “installer.exe” attached and forwarded it to me. Luckily for me, when he did that I was able to verify that…

Spent my lunch hour trying to find the best way to do this for Angela (It’s the top post about sharing a CD burner, her permalinks aren’t working again. The free version of blogger is having an awful time of it right now…) You can see what I came up with in her comments. The…

  • Watery Graves

What is it, exactly, about Blackberry devices and water? We’ve had two users this week completely trash their blackberries by dropping them in water, one in a pool, another in the tub. Of course, the real question I should be asking is why can you not put the blackberry down for awhile? Seriously, relax in…

  • I don’t mean to complain..

But since our ISP did their “upgrade” last week, we’ve had a connection outage of anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour every day. Twice, so far, today! Somehow, I think maybe they missed on the “increased stability” they were going for, don’t you? Gee I’m in an awfully complaint-centered mood today, aren’t I?…
