Working!

Angela’s working correctly again! To quote from her brother’s blog:

Ever since they upgraded blogger, this site and my sisters site was unable to update. Michael was able to pin-point it down to the ftp wouldn’t allow renaming files. After looking into all the permissions on the files, and even having the FTP service log in, I just went to the software site. There had been an upgrade from version 1.71 to 1.80. Upgraded it, and everything is working again.

So if you’re having trouble with blogger not publishing since the upgrade, check with your host about renaming files permissions. Seems they lost the feature where you could turn off renaming in the new version, but it’s not a documented change.

Wonder if I should send blogger a bill for my consulting work in figuring that out? 😉

Lots of database stuff to do today. Since we do billing 45 days out from the due date, this upcoming billing cycle actually represents the first 2003 cycle. What that means for me is that in order to to do some queries against the upcoming accounts and what they’ve been paying over the last 3…
