Do you feel lucky?

Blogrolling.com has a couple of new features. First, there’s the random “I’m feeling lucky” link that you can add to your blogroll. (See the Current Event Blogs over *pointing to the right of the page* there) Then there is the RecipRoll Code, which can automagically list the blogs who are using blogrolling to link to you. (So you never have to feel bad about not finding time to reciprocate links!) I haven’t implemented that one yet, I need to think about placement, and how to handle the folks who are already on my blogrolls.

I’m basically caught up with my work today. I still have a number of things to get done before I take off for Gnomedex, but I’ve got those all scheduled in, and I busted tail today to get all of the “I’m not sure how long that is going to take” projects off of my todo list! Of course I spend most of tomorrow at a Microsoft event, so it may pile back up on me, but let’s hope for the best, shall we?

The in-laws have departed, and, hopefully, I can get to work on that laptop software tonight. Seeing as how my wife and I just napped for a good 3 hours, I should have plenty of energy to work on that, eh? There’s nothing better than Sunday afternoon naps, can I just say that? While they…

Anyone else seeing just a ton of emails with attachments named either wicked_scr.scr, thank_you.pif, details.pif, application.pif or others today? I’ve seen these hit our work email accounts, my personal accounts, my wife’s work email, and others just in the last few hours. Our ISP seems to be stripping the attachments on our work accounts, and…

Last night, I met a friend for drinks and dinner after work. Imagine, if you will, a very hip drinking establishment, right smack dab in the middle of the Arena district of Columbus. When you work for a consulting company and are looking to recruit me, please, by all means, ignore everything that is on my online profile about how I’m not looking for a temporary position, argue with me about what a “temporary” position means, (“No no, this is a six month contract and then they might…

Yeah the new Dell is working out pretty well. I’d forgotten how much work is involved in getting a new PC configured properly. I’d also forgotten how much junk gets pre-installed when you buy an OEM PC. I think I’ve uninstalled most of the trial versions of stuff I have no use for, like AOL,…
