Come together

OK here’s the deal, I’ve had some feedback, both comments and emails from two guys who I think need to chat to each other. The Geek and Jevon, from Blogtrack. They both read this blog, and Geek had some good points the other day about some improvements he’d like to maybe see in Blogtrack. Not that he doesn’t like it now, but he thinks it could be even better. Jevon tells me he’s working on a new interface and I think he needs to talk to Geek about his ideas and see what we can do to make an already good service, better. That’s the beauty of the ‘Net, people bringing their own ideas together to make things better than we could by ourselves, and I would love it if they could get together and swap ideas, because I think they’re both brilliant!

It’s soon going to be 2003. This is a year I’ve actually looked forward to for quite some time. There’s quite a lot of unfinished business that I’m hoping to take care of this year, professionally. Obviously, that will start on Jan 6 when I take the A+ certifications. From there it’ll probably move into…

Angela ordered the Dell Axim X5/400Mhz for my Christmas present. This is pretty much going against my very firmly held belief about all things tech related. That is, never be an early adopter, let someone else be the guinea pig. But in this case, the pricing/specs combination on the Dell PocketPC make it pretty hard…

Hmm wasn’t it lovely of someone to call our house before 7AM today, and every 15 minutes thereafter, trying to send a fax through our voice line. Nothing like a good “fuck you” early on a Monday! Geek let me have a sneak peek at his subscriber-only article on the possible death of internet radio….

From my other blog, because I want to thank the people who contributed through this site as well: I told you a while back that I was going to be looking for a new place to give all the money I’ve raised, what little there is, plus some of my own. It wasn’t that I…

  • Funny

I haven’t blogged about the new anti-spam law in Virginia because I didn’t really think there was anything new to add to what’s already been written. But this morning, as I listened to the local radio station WWCD, I heard something worth blogging about it. As they were discussing the news story, the morning DJ…

  • Attensa

Among the many news items coming out of Gnomedex last week, I saw an announcement of a public preview for a new Outlook-based RSS reader, Attensa. So being ever so curious, I downloaded it this weekend. It’s actually not bad. It supports importing OPML, is pretty customizable, allows you to publish items to your blog…
